Custom designed legal site templates are very expensive, often costing $2,000 or more.  When the internet was relatively new the only option available was to pay through the nose to have a custom law firm template designed and built.  As time passed that changed. Now there are several companies on the internet that specialize in designing templates.  A law firm template can now be "licensed" to be used on your domain for as little as $25.  So why pay $2,000 or more for a custom law firm template?
 

Selecting a Law Firm Template

A substantial percentage of browsers currently in use on the internet cannot render Flash or Swish files.  Why would you want to build a website that automatically disallows a large percentage of prospective clients?

About 40% of all internet users are still accessing the internet with a dial-up modem operating at 56K or less.  It's a well known fact among webmasters that the average person searching the internet will not wait more than 8 to 10 seconds for a page to load.  If the page does not completely load to their browser within that time frame they move on to another website.  When accessed by a dial-up modem, Flash and Swish files take a very long time to load to a persons browser.  Again, why build a website that automatically disallows 40% of your potential clients?  

Flash and Swish files have absolutely no value whatsoever in terms of increasing a website's search engine results.
